Staff Favorite Things

In the middle of the holiday season, our own Julie Brown took possession of a new home. Congratulations!

Her focus on favorite things is added touches to make her house cozy and wonderful! As well as a few things to give her wardrobe a seasonal punch with ease.  

Julie gravitated toward a dark caramel tweed blazer as one of her favorites.

She says, " Beyond the rich color and the textured cotton fabric, I love how this jacket is tapered at the waist so it gives me the feminine silhouette that I love wearing.   Dress it up, dress it down...so many possibilities."  

Always a great treat for the home is a fun set of dishes that you can use on their own or mix and match with your everyday white.  

Julie has been eyeing an artisanal three-piece place setting.   Why?     "I love how sturdy, robust, and fun these dishes are, and beyond that, I love that a potter individually handcrafts them.   I appreciate the slight variation in the design of each piece.   Truly feels specially made for me." 

Julie is working hard to make her home cozy and welcoming.     A luxurious throw for her bed has landed on her list.   

"My cat, in particular, is going to love this washable faux fur throw.   It is fabulously neutral with snowy white highlights and a brown and grey undercoat.   We would both look forward to relaxing under this tundra wolf throw!"

Julie certainly loves her shoes and accessories!  She selected our black and ivory tweed booties and a cream/gold belt for her Santa's list.   

"When I put these booties on, I instantly feel festive and stylish. They are such a classic style and material, and I can see wearing these for years to come with my denim, leggings, or dresses. "

" I always seem to be looking for a simple, elegant belt, and this cracked leather beauty ticks all my boxes. And it seems just the right size to fit in my stocking this year!"

Last but not least on Julie's favorite things list is this stylish side table with its titanium finish on the wood top and acrylic legs.  

She says, "This piece fascinates me with its classic shape and modern details.  Although it is a large side table, it doesn't feel heavy and overwhelming for my space.  I love it!"
