A Room for HIM

We recently worked on a home, and one of the requests was to convert a light and bright office space into a lounge-like environment for HIM.   A place where he could retreat at the end of a long day for a moment of respite, conversation with his wife, and entertaining the gents.   We began with a clean slate.     

We decided to make the space a bit moodier by having our clients paint the built-in's a warm tone of black.   Installing a mirror into the cabinet helped create the lounge vibe our client desired.  Let's take a peek at the afters...

Leather sofas, bold patterns, and rich textures all contributed to this decidedly masculine lounge space.  

This intimate space blends simple patterns and textures beautifully.     The abundance of seating featuring two mirrored sofas and two chairs gives it a comfortable and warm feeling that invites guests to come in and stay awhile.  

Although this room was designed for HIM, we think this room is absolutely wonderful for him, her, or anyone else that needs a moment to be transported to another world.
