'Twas The Week Of Christmas'
Staff Favorite Things
The last on our list to share her favorites is our one and only Stacie Schulz, our fearless senior stylist. Her picks seem to have a modern 'inspired by vintage' theme.
When I saw this picture, I wasn't sure which item was Stacie's favorite because it all looked great!
Stacie shares, "This classic biker jacket reworked in a deep brown leather with a croc texture is everything. I primarily tend to wear black, so this color and hue would be a great way to warm up my wardrobe. It is definitely on my wish list."
And I must say, I love the animal print denim as well.
Stacie is drawn to a carefully crafted etagere with a black frame with wood and brass finishes.
"I think that these shelves would be great flanking a fireplace instead of the typical built-in cabinets we all see time and time again. I also love how the shelf is styled. The shelves themselves have a vintage vibe, yet clean and modern accessories. We love combining different aesthetics, and this is such a great example of how it is done...beautifully."
How lovely is this onyx leather and Kona stained sideboard?
Stacie says "I love this piece. Between the Chanel-inspired quilting, the warm tones of the wood, and the skinny brass legs...it had me at 'Hello.' I think it is the perfect mix of modern and vintage as well as masculine and feminine."
Stacie also loves this blush dinnerware that is both pragmatic and elegant. Practical because they are dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe up to 450 degrees. Elegant because...
"They are so soft and feminine and unexpected as an everyday dish. I can see mixing these with rich brown and black to create a dramatic place setting!"
I asked Stacie what her favorite go-to gift for any of the ladies in her life and she immediately pointed to a vintage-inspired necklace.
"Every woman needs a big chunky statement necklace in her arsenal. Again, another example of modern inspired by vintage."
