Staff Favorite Things

Stylist Emily Powell has an eye and a love for organic shapes, exciting textures, and natural elements for her home and wardrobe.

It has been fun to discover the favorite things in our showroom that resonate with our team members and their distinct styles and learn what is on their "Dear Santa" list this year!

Emily loves our black burnout velvet top with an artfully intricate pattern and a pair of leather slacks for her go-to holiday season outfit.  

She says, "It's such an effortless way to dress up for the holiday parties that I plan on attending this season.   I like to look great but not like I am trying too hard."  

Lighting in a home can make all the difference in how we feel about our space.   Yet, this "jewelry" for the home is often overlooked. A beautiful light fixture would be a unique holiday gift idea for those who want something different.  

Emily is envisioning these black beauties in her own home.   "I am drawn to the organic shape of these candelabra style light fixtures, and they would be showstoppers in my dining room.  I also love the unique black matte finish." 

Emily is naturally drawn to the blush, black, and caramel color palette in the artwork and the free-form vase.  

She writes, "Dear Santa, these three pieces would go beautifully in my living room and would give my room a fresh look for 2022!"

Emily loves the practicality and beauty of this stone cocktail table.

She says, "The organic shape and specks of gold and grey makes it so eye-catching and unique.   Plus, the rounded silhouette is perfect for babies and toddlers. With two kids under three, I know that spills would be easy to clean as well." 

Emily, with her busy lifestyle, is always on the hunt for high-style comfortable boots.

She says, "These are the perfect tall boot to style with jeans, dresses, and leggings.   I love the color and the comfort!"
