Building a Strong Foundation

Many of us are re-introducing ourselves to our wardrobes as we venture back out into the world. And following such a difficult year that has brought on so many hardships for so many people, it is no wonder we may be a little slow to find sartorial inspiration as we enter this new season.

As always, we are here to inspire you, and remind you of why you love getting dressed! Our first tip is simple: go back to the basics. The strongest foundational items in your closet. Your go-to pieces you find yourself reaching for time and time again. Think, a timeless blazer that you can easily throw on with a pair of your favorite denim and a simple tee.Or, a classic leather jacket, that looks just as cool styled for the trip to the grocery store as it does over a feminine cocktail dress for a night on the town.

The pandemic has affected so many of us in different ways and it is no secret that the extended time at home has added inches to many of our waistlines. When this is the case, it makes it even harder to want to get dressed... another reason to fall back on the foundational pieces in your closet. Start with a Plan, not Pillows
