From Typical To Extraordinary

Our K. Renee team has been working with a lovely family for the past couple of years helping them transform their family home from typical to extraordinary...one room at a time. Instead of doing a little bit here and a little bit there and really getting no where, our clients dedicated themselves to completing each space in their home so it was done beautifully to their satisfaction.

Along the way, our K. Renee style team worked closely with our clients who have great vision and taste.    The kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, dining, office, den,  and great room were re-envisioned and re-modeled.   Cabinets and woodwork were painted, light fixtures replaced, and inspiring furnishings, artwork, accessories and layers were added.    This is a wonderful example of how a  cozy 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 2306 square foot home can be truly fabulous.

 Let's take a little tour...

The remodeled gourmet kitchen features a white quartz waterfall countertop.   The dining space flows easily into a sophisticated but comfortable great room area that showcases a marble tile fireplace, new lighting and furnishings that resonated with our homeowners simple modern style.

Below, the front room is used as a cozy music room (piano not pictured on the wall opposite the window.)  The sectional and ottoman make this an easy room to curl up and enjoy piano practice, family time, or reading a good book.

Next, we moved into our clients home office.   The woodwork was painted white and soft furnishings made being in the room an inspiring place to both work and live.

The master suite had great bones but just needed to be furnished and accessorized so our clients had their own mini retreat.   A great place to both start and end their day.

We even tackled the hallway by placing a beautiful bench outside of the three bedrooms that grace the second floor.

Not too long ago, we helped our clients update the room of their young daughter who had all of the sudden become a teenager and had the desire for a more grown up room.   I'm not sure I would ever want to leave this room!

And one of the last rooms we helped our clients tackle was a guest room for visiting family and friends.    Who would ever want to stay in a hotel again if this room was ready and waiting? 

 As a matter of fact, the whole home just feels amazing to be in!     Late last week, I found out that our clients decided to move.   What?  And this fabulous find of a home has just listed on the market.    So why are they moving?    As things always go, they had an unexpected opportunity to buy a home in a neighborhood that they have always admired and wanted to live in for sometime.     

As hard as it was to make the decision to leave this home that has been so lovingly updated and decorated, they are looking forward to making their new home as special "as the one we are leaving behind."
