It’s Thanksgiving week!

Although this holiday will be different for many of us not gathering in large groups this year, the meaning will not be lost.Thanksgiving is a holiday centered around giving back, appreciating our good fortune, and creating special moments with family and friends.   We can still do all those things.  There is perhaps no better time than to practice gratitude and enjoy the most simple moments in life.  

There will be no Black Friday for K. Renee.  Instead, we offer you a sweet deal beginning the Friday after Thanksgiving and continuing through most of December.    We want you to be able to visit us during a time when you are the most comfortable... throughout the entire holiday season.   

I have thought a lot about gift-giving this holiday season and how important it is for all of us to resist the urge to support those massive online vendors that have already profited so heavily throughout this pandemic.   Instead, I think about all of the small businesses and local restaurants that could surely use all of our support as we select gifts for our loved ones.  We must love where we live.     

This coming weekend is a national support local initiative, Small Business Saturday.    One day is not enough.    How lovely would it be if we all chose to support local businesses all season long instead?  And this year especially.    Shopping 100%  local is my personal holiday gifting pledge.    I will not make one online purchase from now to the end of the year.  

There are so many ways to curate lovely gifts that give...

Gift a dinner party to your kids from a local restaurant or caterer.     Buy the man in your life some great duds.   Or give the gift of stress relief from many service providers that could surely use your help.

Of course, you know that K. Renee is full of inspired gifts to make everyone’s home feel special along with all the women in your life.   

Although a good percentage of you are dressing a bit more casual these days, that does not mean neglect of our personal style is a good thing.   There are plenty of fabulous and practical options that would make a spectacular gift.   Just arrived is a line of effortless cool vintage leather jackets that every woman would love to have in her wardrobe.
