A Little Time On Our Hands for a HYGGE Home

March 30, 2020

Happy Monday!  I am going to do my darnedest to make it a happy one, even with these challenging times.  And now, we seem to have an abundance of time on our hands as we social distance at home.

I decided that it was essential to find some kind of new routine which will begin with an hour-long walk each and every morning with my lovely English Pointer, Buoy, each and every day we are sheltering at home.

No excuses anymore, right?   And gosh knows, the snacking that I am doing at home needs to be counterbalanced somehow. Yesterday, a fantastic client of ours, Becky, send me a picture of her dog Hero, enjoying the comfort of her (and his) K. Renee home.

She said " Hope you're staying well and hanging in through all this.  Wanted to send you a pick of Hero with an idea for #dogsofkrenee.   And he is sending smiles!"

How nice was that? And a fabulous idea as there is nothing more joyful right now than our furry companions that love having us home with them...the more, the better.  We expanded her joyful idea just a little and asked for our team and clients to send us their pictures of their cats and dogs.

We would love to see how your furry companions are enjoying the home life as well! You can post them in the comments on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/K.ReneeDSM/

Also, with a little bit of time on our hands, I thought you might have time for a short Virtual Style Session. I have several presentations created for small groups (to be resumed when we get through this battle we are going through), and in the meantime, I thought it would be a fabulous way to stay connected with each of you. I will do my best to modify these presentations with things that you might consider doing in your home at the present time. And now, as you are spending more time than ever in your homes, it will give you a chance to dream about what you might want (or need to do) in the future when our doors are reopened.

Today's virtual style session is about 7 ways to create a little  Hygge in Your Home.

Part of my new daily routine will be to continue to work on projects, develop style tips and tricks, and continue to offer you inspiration.  Have something that you want us to address? Don't hesitate to ask! While we may be working differently, we are answering emails and phone calls...and working on living life beautifully each and every day.

Thank you so much for continuing to support us through this difficult time. Stay well and safe.

XOXO,
