5 Stylish Additions To Your Home

Whether you walk into a 1000 square foot condo or a sprawling home in the suburbs, some spaces just seem to have an effortless well-styled factor that sets it apart from the rest in the best of ways.   That’s what we all want in our own homes, right?

The number one thing that you will notice when walking into a stylish space is that it generally has unique, curated pieces throughout the home.   Uncommon furniture that speaks to your own unique personality and home style.   

With that in mind, let’s talk about what items you might consider replacing or adding to instantly give you that more stylish vibe you are seeking.  

When guests enter your home, they should see something interesting and welcoming rather than a shoe rack or a catch-all zone.   First impressions count!

When a desk resides in your home, it can be both functional and stylish.    A desk like this would be beautiful in its own room or could just as easily sit in its own corner of a great room.

You know that spot or corner in your home that needs just a little something?     A pedestal featuring a great statue or large accessory is a stylish way to solve the problem.    

I am particularly fond of this 42" square pedestal with a faux crocodile inlay.   It pairs with a crystal glass that sits atop.  So unique...so elegant.

Homes generally fare better with larger statement accessories instead a lot of little things.    A lot of little accessories, commonly referred to as "tchotchke" can easily seem like clutter.   

A sculpture like this would look amazing on the pedestal above as well as on a bookshelf, foyer console or cocktail table. 

A fun addition to a basement might be a stylish pub table...or even the perfect dining solution to a smaller apartment space.

These are just a few examples of the unique and curated goods that we offer for your home.   Just last week, we placed a gorgeous sideboard in a home and my client asked how many of these had we sold previous to her purchase.   I loved being able to tell her that it was a new piece we ordered for the showroom and we would more than likely not order it again.   It would be unique to her home in this area.
