There is something magical and mysterious about mirrors!

There is something magical and mysterious about mirrors.  They bring light and depth into a room; they reflect and emphasize a great view, they are like a decorative window that you can move around, as you like! And the best thing about a mirror is that it can be one of the most cost-effective, immediate and glamorous way to bring a little light of style to your home. Here are a few of our favorite ways.

Double your space: Anytime you add a mirror to a room, you visually expand it.   Leaning an oversized mirror on the wall will brighten any room, create luminosity and add dimension all in one.
Create some drama (the good kind): Mirrors can be displayed in every room of the house, but some favorite spots are an entryway, the end of the hallway, dining room and a master suite.   Typically these areas lack natural light and a mirror creates an opportunity for creative lighting, candles, ambience, art and reflectivity.

Multiples of a good thing: Try something new in your home and hang multiple mirrors on the same wall, group like an art piece.   The cluster of modern circular mirrors here elevates this space from a hallway to a grand entryway.

Tip: The scale should be proportional to each other and the wall space.   When you're arranging a small group of mirrors, think in odd numbers. Odd number groupings of objects are always more appealing to the eye. So think 3, 5 or 7 mirrors.

There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.
