Designer Clothing Boutique Our story began in 1988 when the husband and wife team of Kelli and Jeff Schulz built a "K.Renee room" onto their home, located in the lush rolling hills of rural Iowa. Their philosophy was simple and clear- beautiful and unique items at your fingertips. Word quickly got out about the luxurious designer label clothing and personal shopping service that was so difficult to find. In 1996 Kelli and Jeff opened a charming and very personalized boutique in the historic train depot in Ames, Iowa. Building on the popularity of their in-home designer boutique, the new K.Renee store specialized in designer labels that were hard to find in Iowa. They also become known for providing a level of service typically only found in high-end shops in major cities. After three years of developing a clientele at her Ames store, Kelli ventured yet again into a new and larger market: Des Moines. Growing their West Des Moines store into the one-of-a-kind designer boutique it is today has given Kelli and Jeff the opportunity to continue doing what they love: providing luxurious items from designer labels that meet the K.Renee standards of elegance and quality, accompanied by service that exceeds every expectation. |
